Hi. I’m Anna Hithersay.
Come Hither and Stay is my place to post about what gives me energy, gets me excited, and fills my life with joy. Mostly that means things that are beautiful, authentic, whimsical and earthy. I love to read, cook, play piano, hike, drink coffee, snuggle, and talk with dear friends.
I earned a degree in History, with a minor in English Literature, and then went on to get my Master’s Degree in Library Science. I worked as an academic reference librarian at a local college for several years and now I stay at home with my son and work part-time as a writer and project manager.
I’m married to my best friend and after a long, hard journey, God has answered my prayers to be a mother. It’s the most joyous, difficult, and important job on the planet. Our oldest son was born in South Korea and came to our family when he was 20 months old. He had a rough start to life and has cerebral palsy, but he is astounding everyone with his intelligence, tenacity, curiosity, sense of humor, and love of plaid shirts. Plus, he is just so adorable I can hardly stand it! We are expecting our second son in the spring of 2014.
Thanks for taking the time to read my little blog!
