Today is the first day of the Fall Hello Mornings Challenge. A couple weeks ago I joined a private Facebook group of ladies who are a part of the challenge and who can all help each other stay accountable. The goal is that we will be able to use our mornings productively, accomplishing some of the most important parts of the day before the children get up or we have to leave for work. I wrote recently about why I’ve become an Early Bird. It’s a change in my life that’s surprising, but full of blessings.

My goals for the challenge are to be up at 5:30 and to do a Bible Study first thing. I then hope to eat a good breakfast each morning and spend time planning out my week. I’ll do writing for the blog and other projects after all that is done. I may try to fit in exercise occasionally, but I don’t like doing things that can’t be interrupted because even when I get up at 5:30 I don’t have long before Nathan will join me.
